I like women in Martial Arts films.
What grates on my nerves is when a person who can kick and chop is suddenly awarded a title slightly beneath goddess: anyone who can swing a sword without giving themselves a free haircut is a "samurai." If they put on a hood, and medical mask, they become a "Ninja."

Abuse of these terms is unavoidable, but one wouldn't want to see someone whom one respects involved in that... icky mess.
